Jackson Greenberg’s video for ‘The Latter Years A’ premiered on Foxy Digitalis

“String arrangements swirl with urgency and anticipation on Jackson Greenberg’s “The Latter Years,” pushing beyond electronic interference in search of escape. Memories are transformed into sonic missives and, as in the stunning video produced by Richie Kulchar and edited by Ben Boyd, burn to the ground. Using images of a burning doll house (shot by Peter Hubele) and archival footage from Europe during WWII, the fraught nature of Greenberg’s piece is heightened. Drama rises in sharp tremolos and the intersection of sustained notes before everything is swallowed by noise. “
